Plasma Revive delivers pulses of energy into the skin using plasma technology. The device generates an ionised gas, referred to as plasma which is directed from the tip into the skin. This plasma-containing energy generates heat and and safely sublimates tiny areas of the skin, without effecting surrounding areas. Sublimation turns the precise areas targeted directly into gas, which makes the overall area shrink and tighten. The result is smoother, tighter skin.

What does the treatment involve?

Firstly a Plasma Revive aesthetician will discuss your areas of concerns, check your suitability, carry out a detailed consultation and talk about expectations.

At your appointment, anaesthetic cream is applied to the area. After around 30 minutes, the skin is cleaned and your aesthetician precisely targets the specific area with the Plasma Revive tip. This causes tiny dots (a crust) to form in the area which fall off after approximately 5-8 days. The treatment can take anything from 15-60 minutes depending on the area.

It is uncomfortable although anaesthetic cream means that the treatment sensation is reduced. The skin may feel hot in places and afterwards you may experience a tingling or burning sensation. However as there is no cutting or incision, there are no open wounds.

You will see brown dots on the skin and swelling immediately after the treatment. The dots which are tiny crusts flake off after 5-8 days. Some areas will swell more than others, which will be advised at your consultation.

The Effects are like surgery but without the scalpel

The effects can often be seen immediately, although the best results will be visible weeks later. Expect between 1-3 sessions which will be advised during your consultation.

Plasma treatments have been used around the world for years, with excellent results. It is often referred to as ‘soft surgery’ as the improvements are so good.
